Things are super frosty and downright frigid but trout and Dollie’s are still biting. Find the spawned out silvers or slow seams and you might get some action. Beads and flesh and streamers and nymphs and everything else in your fly box might work on these frigid days. It’s chilly above but warmer below so tune into what’s beneath the surface and hang on. Some of the biggest rainbows over winter on the Upper Kenai. Bring lots of snacks and a thermos and enjoy a little peace and quiet on the Upper Kenai River!
