Kenai Peninsula Steelhead

Come chase the fish of legends. Drift boat the Upper Kasilof River from Tustumena Lake to the Sterling Highway in pursuit of truly wild Alaskan steelhead. This run is big and the crowds are nonexistent. Traditional single hand fly fishing, spey/switch and spin rod techniques are all employed and all just as effective as the other. This is a fun trip in a stretch of river very different from the usual king salmon runs of the lower Kasilof River(downstream of the Sterling highway). There is way too much water to fish here in a day so book two and get a deal, plus a few more fish! Most days are long and chilly.  Bring plenty of food, an extra layer and your neoprene's and don't forget your camera! Most folks come out of this drift in some kind of amazement, either at the fishery or the feeling you get from being alone in the fall on an Alaskan river. There's not enough good thing to say about this trip, call for more details!
